Methods of Payment

Payment can be made via credit card, bank transfer or by invoice against an official Purchase Order Number and will be billed in pound sterling GBP.

 

Credit Card Payment Security: A secure payment portal, provided by Wirecard AG, is used for payment. A link is included in the Conference Registration system. ECS Publications do not have access to nor keep records of your credit card data.

Registration and Payment

Registration will only be confirmed upon receipt of full payment.

 

For online payment, your credit card will be billed in GBP. You will receive an invoice in the acknowledgment email after the registration is completed. Payment must be made within 14 days.

 

Finalization of the contract: The contract comes after the booking and payment and then the booking confirmation of ECS Publications, (the Conference owner).

 

Contractual partners: The final customer/Delegate and ECS Publications are the contractual partners.

The buyer of the tickets concludes a contract for the purchase of the tickets exclusively with the ECS Publications. ECS Publications is the only contractual partner of the final customer with regard to the purchase of the tickets and ECS Publications is responsible for queries, complaints and cancellations.

 

Delegate Cancellation Policy: before 31st May 2019 – full refund less £40 administration charge; 1st June 2019 and thereafter – delegate substitutions accepted, but no refunds available.

 

Liability and Conference Cancellation Policy: ECS Publications, the Conference & Exhibition Organisers, reserve the right to reschedule the Conference & Exhibition in the circumstances of “events beyond our reasonable control”; ECS Publications shall not be liable for the consequences of “events beyond our reasonable control” – see definition below. ECS Publications, reserve the right to cancel the Conference & Exhibition, for reasons other than “events beyond our reasonable control”, and in that instance only, shall refund to each Participant the Conference and/or Exhibition fee, previously paid, in full satisfaction of all liabilities of ECS Publications to each Delegate or Exhibitor.

 

Events beyond our reasonable control include: acts of God, war, threat of war, riots, civil disturbances, terrorist activity, industrial disputes, natural and nuclear disasters, fire, epidemics, health risks, governmental emergency, travel restrictions by government(s), technical problems with transport, including changes due to rescheduling or cancellation of flights by an airline or alteration of the airline or aircraft type for reasons beyond our control or that of our suppliers; closed or congested airports, stations or ports, hurricanes and other actual or potential severe weather conditions, labour strike, unavailability of the Exhibit Facility or other such like events, and any

We Use your name and email address to deliver professional Conference Material to you as a professional person. Your address details will not be sold to a third party company. Legal jurisdiction: These Terms and Conditions are governed by Scots Law and you submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
